Description The system consists of a magnetic, ultra-thin encoded thread and a corresponding sensor/reader. The thread is composed of a an alloy mixture of metals surrounded by a glass coating. Through the generation of a specific magnetic field the magnetic properties of the FluxSecure thread can be read using a sensor to verify the product’s authenticity (green/red response). The magnetic properties can be adjusted by varying the alloy as well as the thickness and length of the thread. The alloy mixtures can be custom-made and are not reproducible.
