Police in Lagos have busted a syndicate which specialized in importing fake and banned drugs from Pakistan to Nigeria. Two suspects have been arrested. During the container check, fake and contraband medicines, including antibiotics, cough syrup, and abortion pills, among others, were discovered. Most of the products bore the name of a popular pharmaceutical company.
