At the launch of the “National workshop for the prevention, detection and response to substandard and fake products”, Dr Sánchez Cárdenas, Health Minister, announced that the national health agency had carried out 306 administrative closures of illegal establishments, 109 seizures at ports and airports, 21,443 verifications of charges, 25 searches, 359 product incinerations, 3,127 routine inspections and handled 170 complaints.
