The firm in question was investigated by the Health Department following a complaint. A large volume of fake medicines was seized during numerous inspections and raids of over 15 Jaipur hospital pharmacies. The seized medicines mainly included treatments to relieve severe neuropathic pain and treatments for cardiac problems. Tests have revealed that the medicines did not contain active ingredients.
