Tchad : Minilabs teams find antibacterial medicine in Chad

The Minilab Working Group for www.EPNetwork.org has uncovered fake cotrimoxazole tablets with no active ingredient. The fake tablets are presented in blisters of 10 tablets which are covered in a badly-printed outer packaging with spelling mistakes. The batch number reads “OLLO18” with “09/21” as an expiry date. The fake NAFDAC registration number presents the product as being officially registered in Nigeria.
