Could a musical instrument detect fake medicines? -

US-fake-medicines

Scientists at the University of California have developed a new sensor that can be used to test if a medicine is genuine. The device is based on a 3,000-year-old musical instrument called a mbira or thumb piano. The sensor can accurately measure the density of any liquid. Comparing the density of a suspicious liquid medicine to the density of the known product can reveal whether or not both medicines have the same ingredients.
