The Royal Gendarmerie and customs services seized 25 million Tramadol tablets at Tangier Port. Tramadol is an opioid painkiller. Local authorities reported that the medicines came from Asia and were destined for African countries. An investigation has been opened to identify the network involved in this international trafficking, and samples of the tablets were sent to the Royal Military Police Forensic Science Institute for analysis.
