IBM has revealed the “world’s smallest computer”. The device has the same strength as a 90s computer and will cost less than 10 cents to make. The company’s aim was to create an affordable chip small enough to be embedded in countless daily products, especially medicines. The chips could lead to more efficient monitoring and authenticity checks.
