The Seoul court sentenced a doctor to two years and six months in prison and a hefty fine for prescribing herbal medicine mixed with inedible elements, including charcoal dust and also Metformin and Glibenclamideas, as anti-diabetic therapies to his patients. The therapist was using illegally imported anti-diabetic substances from China to make the “miracle pellets”.
