Authorities have discovered cartons of expired medicines in an unfinished building following a tip-off. The 75 cartons of expired products contained: vermox, an anti-parasite treatment; HIV test kits; antimalarial tablets; paracetamol; sterilized water and blood transfusion bags, etc. A majority of the drugs were labeled, “destined for Maryland County and JFK Medical Center,” and were several years past their expiry dates. There have been no arrests at this stage.
