Three Canadian residents and their company, Quantum Solutions, have been charged by the American court for money laundering and illegally distributing mislabeled prescription medicines which were imported from abroad. Quantum Solutions, a company registered in Barbados with offices in Vancouver, purchased medicines from suppliers located in Turkey, Great Britain and other countries. The medicines were sent to a re-shipper in the UK to be repackaged in small packages, thus enabling them to pass through American customs without being noticed. Upon arrival in the US, they were unpacked and repacked for wholesale delivery to local pharmacies.
