Italy: 11 arrested for selling illicit medicines in sex shops

Financial police have arrested 11 sex shop owners following a routine tax inspection. All the suspects are sex shop owners and are part of the same trafficking ring which sells illicit products in various regions in Italy. Over 10,000 boxes of unauthorized and potentially harmful medicines from China and India were seized. Police mainly uncovered products containing sildenafil and tadalafil; the active ingredients in Viagra and Cialis.
