Whilst the number of Americans overdosing from anxiety drugs has quadrupled in the past couple of decades, the authorities are now concerned that this figure will increase following the discovery of alleged Xanax tablets made with fentayl. The tablets were discovered in several states, from California to Florida. Students frequently practice non-medical use of prescription medicines such as anxiety tablets and painkillers (3% of 18-25 year olds admit to this use) and they are at a high overdose risk as they purchase their products from illegal street dealers.
