An American wholesaler was sentenced to 5 years in prison and ordered the seizure of criminal products worth $900,000 to the State. He was charged with 64 crimes and fraud and for piloting a fake and unauthorized medicines traffic which included chemotherapy treatments for stage 4 cancer patients. He sold the products to medical providers across the United States. Almost 40 witnesses established that the accused deceived a wide array of doctors and clinics into believing that he was selling legitimate FDA-approved products when, in reality, he was selling unapproved products imported through a series of unidentified middlemen in Turkey and elsewhere overseas.
