The national police have seized over three tons of medicines since the beginning of the year during 600 operations in Lima shopping malls and pharmacies. The operations, which were organized with the support of the public prosecutor and the General Direction of Medicines, Production Agents and Drugs (DIGEMID), uncovered antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medicines, injectable products, needles and fake contraceptives. The products will be burn by end July 2016.
