
A female trader from Guinea and two security guards were arrested for fake medicine trafficking in Touba, Senegal. The woman confessed to purchasing the medicines in Guinea worth CFA 1.8m (€2,744). She intended to sell them in Touba market. The seized goods, 643kg of pharmaceutical products, mainly tablets, had travelled in a refrigerated truck, hidden among brooms. The two conveyors were arrested by customs and the instigator by the police.
