A female trader from Guinea and two security guards were arrested for fake medicine trafficking in Touba, Senegal. The woman confessed to purchasing the medicines in Guinea worth CFA 1.8m (âŹ2,744). She intended to sell them in Touba market. The seized goods, 643kg of pharmaceutical products, mainly tablets, had travelled in a refrigerated truck, hidden among brooms. The two conveyors were arrested by customs and the instigator by the police.
