In its latest report, Google announced a 180% rise in the number of hacked sites in 2015 and an increase of the number of sites with low quality contents. The company suspended more than 10,000 sites and 18,000 accounts for attempted sale of counterfeit products. The Alphabet subsidiary, which earns more than 90% of its revenue through advertising, blocked more than 12.5 million ads for sale of non-authorized medicines in the US.
