The Colombian health agency, INVIMA, is warning consumers about the health risks associated with consumption of 268 illegal products sold on the internet and containing undeclared ingredients. These products are sold as “slimming”, “miracles” and also “sexual performance” products.
Some treatments against erectile dysfunction or sexual stimulants denounced by INVIMA are sold under the names “Fuel Up High Octane”, “Super Dragon”, “Viagra 007″ or “Black Mamba”. Some of them had already been denounced by the US Food and Drug Administration last January ( read the news).
Other products promise to lose weight or control appetite. Some of them are sold under the names “Slim Forte Slimming Capsule”, “Slim-Vie,” “Zero Xtreme”, “Xtreme Body” and “Xtreme ZX” or “Sit and Slim II”.
