19 tons of counterfeit medicines seized during the last 18 months in a province in Angola

On October 23, 2015, the Deputy Governor of social issues and politics, Guilherme Tuluca, announced at the opening ceremony to a training program for health professionals of the region, the record seizures of fake medicines in the province of Huambo, Angola: nineteen tons of fake medicines were seized these last 18 months in this province. He also recalled how training of caregivers is essential in the fight against counterfeit medicines.
