On 28 August 2015, the Liberian Drug Enforcement Agency[1] has arrested a Guinean citizen (Suah Bility) in his truck carrying a huge cargo of counterfeit drugs. The batch of seized drugs was analyzed by the official laboratory of Liberia (LMDC) and its Regional Director announced that it was indeed counterfeit medicines. On medication boxes did not appear either trademarks or manufacture dates or expiry dates.
The seized products included all kinds of tablets, eye drops, cough lozenges, etc.
