In order to fight against counterfeit drugs trafficking, the Mauritanian authorities have decided that only pharmaceuticals from France will be imported.

This measure will affect Moroccan, Tunisian and Senegalese exporters who focused most of their activity on the export to Mauritania.

This will also have consequences for the consumer-patient who will see an increase in drug prices.
