Mass destruction of counterfeit and substandard products in China, a few days before the World Consumer Rights Day

March 15, 2015 – The Chinese police have recently destroyed counterfeit and poor quality products in different provinces of the country, including medicines.
In County Jinhu, more than 1,000 cartons of fireworks and crackers that were failing safety warnings with the county were destroyed. In the capital city of the Anhiu province, the police destroyed about 300 unqualified products (fire extinguishers or hoses). Last year, on 19,000 companies inspected by the firefighting department, 200 were sanctioned.
Finally, in the south of China, the FDA has destroyed 280,000 boxes of fake drugs, worth about 1 million yuan, or over US$160,000.
