The National Laboratory for Drug Control has been rewarded for its efforts to apply the medicines policy. The European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines, organ of the Council of Europe, gave them for the third time the accreditation certificate according to the ISO 17025 international quality standard. It then allows the confirmation of its position as a member of the European network of the official laboratories for medicines control (OMCL).
This laboratory was founded in 1969 to ensure the Moroccan citizens an access to health quality products.
This national drug policy aims to ensure their availability in the country and the respect for quality standard of production, distribution and marketing. Thanks to this laboratory, Morocco can export to the European, North American and Middle East countries.
This drug policy should contribute to bring down many medicines prices in order to make them as accessible as possible.
