ONUDC new report : “fraudulent medicines represent a market of $ 5 billion in Southeast Asia”

UNODC has published a report on the threat of transnational organized crime in East Asia and the Pacific. This report highlights how criminal groups have developed, creating markets for contraband for about $ 90 billion.
About a third flow of transnational organized crime is linked to counterfeiting, or $ 24.4 billion, while fraudulent drugs represent a market of $ 5 billion.
