MEXICO : 6% of medicines sold in Mexico would be illegal
The head of the Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks (Cofepris), Mikel Arriola said that 6% of the medicines sold in Mexico are illegal, and that the only measure to discourage the practice, he said, is to expand the supply drug.
The official explained that federal drug that has ensured Cofepris, 31% are medical samples, 29% are outdated drugs and 26% split. The rest, he said, are adulterated, abused and allegedly or falsified drugs.
