KUWAIT CITY – Fake medicines sold in market

March 10: Manager of Medicines Inspection Control at the Ministry of Health Dr Jaber Al-Khalidi has warned ‘patients’ against using the fake drug which is being sold in the market, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily. The drug is sold as an antibiotic to treat fungal and vaginal infections in women under the brand name ‘Diflucan 150 mg’ and carries the serial number 9238103, and expires in November 2014. Another type of the same medication carries the serial number 0734102 expires and expires in February 2015.
